Dealing With Information Overload

When you leap into the business of online marketing, you can't help but notice that there are seemingly infinite amount of ways to make money. The problem is that everybody is telling you which one works best. You've always got somebody to tell you some technique that will unlock riches.

So the inevitable happens. You drop everything you are doing, and move on to the next thing…..that is until you hear from somebody else that if you use their techniques, you'll be rich…..and so forth so on.

It gets to the point where you feel completely dismantled. You don't know where to turn. You've listened to a bunch of people telling you what to do, and you've tried what they recommended, but you've got nothing to show for it. Why?? Because chances are, you didn't really take the time to fully implement the system or you implemented it, but you just didn't allow enough time for it to work.

There will be thousands, possibly even millions of people who will go through their entire IM "career" doing this. They will simply just jump from one thing to the next. Several years will pass, and they will tell you that "they tried everything but nothing worked and it's impossible to make money online".

PLEASE don't let that happen to you.

I know it would be easier if there was only ONE way to make money online, and you can just do that, but that's kind of the beauty of this business. It's so great that we are not tied to one way of doing things.

Think back to the days when Internet Marketing was first getting started. Think back to the mid to late 90s. You really didn't have the options that you have nowadays. If you wanted to make money, you were going to have to sell your own product either on your own site or in a place like eBay. That was pretty much it.

If you wanted traffic to your own site, your only real option was SEO.

Now, take a look at what we have available to us:

PPC

PPV

video marketing

social marketing

forum marketing

social bookmarking

linkwheels

the list goes on and on……

There are thousands of little systems or techniques that you can use just with the above tools. BUT……you've got to give it a try and you've got to give it a chance. That's the key. You can't do it half-assed and expect to be rich within a week. It doesn't work like that.
