I think most people that try to make money online, do so by going after active income.   In other words, it’s money made based on your time input.  For example, a person who makes money on a per hour basis, like a waiter.  He or she’s paycheck is based on the hours they work.   If they work 0 hours, then they’ll get paid nothing. If they work 40 hours, they’ll make decent money.
